Take5 and Dance

Homemade Take5 Candybars
I know that you are all just as curious about my surprise date with Jason, as I was. I need you all to know that Jason is practically perfect in every way.

We started off our date night early. Jason picked me up after class at 1:30, and we ran errands then watched How to Train Your Dragon, and got some dinner {Teriyaki Sticks, best deal in town}. Then the real date night started. We went to Jason's car and grabbed his backpack, where he pulled out my apron {that he snuck out of my apartment without me noticing}, and broke the news to me: We were going to make Take5's {my favorite candy bar}. If you have never had a Take5, {go get one} it consists of chocolate, peanut butter, caramel, pretzels, and peanuts. We went back to his apartment where we got started by making homemade caramel. We rolled the pretzels in peanut butter {which I made a mess of}, topped them with the caramel, peanuts, and chocolate. The worst part was waiting for them to cool off enough to eat. They were well worth the wait. I wish that I could share with all of you {but then I'd have less for me ;)}.  We watched my favorite TV show How I Met Your Mother, while we were waiting for them to cool.

After we were done with the candy making, we took a walk to another mysterious place. Jason even made me close my eyes and spun me around so that I would be confused as to where we were going. We went to the Snow building {on campus, for you non-BYUI-goers}. We had been there once before, when we first started dating. We went there one night to just be alone {both of our apartments were being used by roommates, and the lounges were taken as well}. When we were there the first time Jason surprised me by playing some music and we slow danced to it. Well, last night he did it again. He turned on our song {Then, by Brad Paisley} and we slow danced in the Snow. It was just as amazing as the first time.
Amazing date.

I always tease Jason that he never asked me out, I was the one who asked him on our first date, but he has more than made up for that. This was the best date I've ever been on. I love you Jason!
